The Langkloof is between the Formosa Nature Reserve and between the peaks of the Tsitsikamma, the heart of the picturesque tourist region, and the Kouga Mountains. Blossom time in the Langkloof is a memorable and fragrant experience, but throughout the year fertile valley fruit and flowers charm many visitors. Home to the "Kouga Mummy", the Honeybush Tea industry and a huge wealth of biodiversity and scenic splendor is to be remembered and treasured. The economy is dominated by deciduous fruit farming and tourism. The orchards, fynbos and mountains create a wonderful tranquil harmony that serves as a gateway to many attractions. The Langkloof Festival is held in September.
